Amanda, a Bay Area resident, grew up going to McCall with her family. Naturally, the lake is close to her heart and was a fitting location to marry the love of her life, Anish. Anish and Amanda’s destination wedding was about as pretty and elegant as it gets. If you are looking for a place to get married, your search should begin and end at the Shore Lodge in McCall. We had some fun with smoke grenades, stars, Indian dancing, and of course, the lake. The Bhasin’s are pretty much the best and their wedding is among our favorites we’ve filmed.

Wedding Movie // The Murphys

There’s something pretty special about weddings in San Francisco. The city has a certain romance to it that makes it the perfect setting for a love story. Colleen and Keith tied the knot at the amazing Fairmont Hotel and the event was about as elegant and beautiful as you could imagine. Everything, from the Murphy’s first look overlooking the city skyline to the reception with a panoramic view of the bay, was about as perfect and fairytale-esque as a couple could hope for.

Andy and Betsy’s combined everything we love about a wedding: a beautiful setting (you can’t beat Monterey), fun vendors, a hilarious emcee, a crowded dance floor, and a couple that is madly in love with each other. Andy and Betsy were smiling from sunrise until sunset and they went out of their way to make us feel at home. The Nicklaus Club is among our favorite places to film and the A’Neals are easily among our favorite couples we have worked with. March 26 was the best.

It’s not often that we get to spend an entire 48 hours with a couple, but Corbin and Courtney’s wedding featured more love and fun than one could possibly pack into 24 hours. The weekend began with a cruise around the San Francisco Bay and ended in the heart of the city itself at the Fairmont Hotel. Corbin, a professional football player, and Courtney, a business owner and former professional soccer player, are some of the nicest people (let alone couples) we have ever met. From the Grace Cathedral to the Fairmont Hotel, the Louks’ wedding featured some of the most beautiful buildings (and people) the city has to offer. Honestly, we could have easily spent another 48 hours following Corbin and Courtney, but at a certain point I think it becomes stalking. And while there is a fine line between stalker and friend, we look forward to hanging out with Corbin and Courtney again soon. In the meantime, you’ll have to excuse us while we relive those incredible 48 hours through this video.

So a guy walks into a bar and meets a girl. He dances with the girl, gets to know the girl, and a few years later he marries the girl. This is essentially the story of Wesley and Liz. On August 15, 2015 in Palo Alto, the Corbera’s tied the knot and added the next part of their “a guy walks into a bar” story.

From the moment we walked into the room where the girls were getting ready, we knew the McGue wedding was going to be a fun. Aly and Clinton exuded love and happiness. At the end of the night we walked up to a couple and let them know how fun it was to capture their love on video. It was so evident that there was no place that Aly and Clinton would have rather been on August 8, 2015. To be honest, there was no place we would have rather been either.

On August 1, 2015 Andrés and Michael were married at one of the most beautiful venues Northern California has to offer-Thomas Foggarty Winery. Seriously, this place is amazing. Sitting atop the Santa Cruz mountains, overlooking the South Bay Area, the couple exchanged their vows on the heels of the historic Supreme Court ruling. Amid the celebration there was also a performance we will never forget. Cher (it may have actually been the real Cher?) took the microphone at the end of the night, which was a fitting way to end a memorable evening.

Cameron and Mariah started dating in high school and 6 years later they committed to a lifetime of love. The Coon’s Livermore wedding was a lot of fun. The couple exude a kindness and love that you don’t see very often. Their community of friends and family helped them celebrate a storybook wedding on a lovely day in Livermore.

Katie contacted us about filming her wedding, without knowing that I teach at the school where her husband is a football coach. Small world. Matt and Katie’s May wedding at Palmdale Estates was a beautiful event. It’s always fun filming weddings when we know this guests and The Hoefs wedding was no exception. From the day’s subtle nods to the sport Matt loves to Katie’s eye for detail, the celebration was one of the highlights of this wedding season.

Valhalla Tahoe Wedding

I get to film a lot of weddings, but I think this one will continue to stick with me a for a while. Zack and Monica’s Lake Tahoe wedding was a giant party. Not only was the couple’s love evident, but there was an atmosphere of love and joy in the air among all of the family and guests. I actually went to high school with Monica so it was fun to reconnect with her and some old friends during the weekend’s festivities. Zack and Monica are hilarious, passionate people and I hope they get the chance to snowboard and wakeboard with their grandkids one day. They’re the best. We love them.
