Schannep Wedding Highlight Video

Jon is a Marine. His friends have swords. Amy actually happens to be a former student of mine and is an all around great person. Add those factors to a beautiful setting on a perfect day in Oakland and you have the recipe for a perfect wedding day.

Clark Wedding Movie

I have known Kyle since I was 14 and I have had the privilege of watching him play many roles in his life: skateboarder, snowboarder, rastafarian, GQ, country singer, bull rider, electrician, and so on. Having said that, the most enjoyable role I have seen him play is the role of groom. On September 1, 2013 Kyle married Bridget-a beautifully South African who God uniquely designed just for Kyle (I’m convinced of it). The two of them shared a lot of laughs a love with an intimate gathering of family and friends, on this late summer Santa Cruz afternoon.

Lopez Wedding Movie

I have known Nate Lopez for many years. We met at church and I have also had the privilege working alongside him for his event lighting company, Lightheaded designs. He is the type of guy you would probably want around if you were stuck on an island or in some remote location and need to survive. Fortunately for Karrie, she will always have someone who can rescue her or create a contraption in a time of need. Nate is MacGyver. Nate and Karrie were married at Koinonia Conference Center in the Santa Cruz mountains on August 11, 2013. The location was probably the most beautiful setting I have scene for a wedding ceremony. It was perfect. Nate added his signature lighting touches and Karrie provided comic relief throughout the day. They are a fun couple, which made shooting quite easy.

As an aside, their photographer Phil had a Phantom DJI (helicopter) that we got to shoot with. The forest shots are quite epic.

Hester Wedding Movie

If you say you have been to Stonyford before, you are probably not telling the truth. That is of course unless you were at the Hester/White wedding. The town of Stonyford is sort of like someone (probably God) took the beautiful landscape of Montana and plopped it smackdab (do people still say that?) Southwest of Chico. Needless to say, the wedding and ceremony were beautiful.

Matt and Beka’s country-style wedding (May 18), set against Stonyford’s picturesque hills and pastures, could not have been more fun to shoot. This is the first wedding I have shot solo in a while and the couple (and guests) made my job pretty easy. This was a great way to dive in to this busy wedding season. Congrats!
