Loy said there are two things he has always wanted to do: have a drone follow him will he drives his boat super fast, get married, and have a baby. On a warm June Saturday in Lakeport, Loy accomplished two of those goals (hint: no baby…yet). Marissa and Loy are the type of couple who exude adventure, fun, and most of all, love. We had an amazing time helping capture their story and are confident these 2 will be amazing parents once goal three is accomplished.

Katie knew what she wanted her wedding dress to look like, from as far back as she can remember. The dress, and everything else about her may wedding to Scott, was pulled straight from her childhood storybook. She played the role of princess and Scott, her prince. The Garvey wedding was filled with joy, from the first look to the couple’s sparkler exit. We couldn’t have asked for a better story to help tell.

Iceland Videography

My wife and I spent a week in Iceland in the beginning of April. Needless to say, it was magical. It was perfect combination of outdoor adventure and indoor luxury (we stayed at some pretty radical hotels). The food was wonderful, the people were kind and the landscape was from another world. We cannot wait to go back.

If you want to get married in Iceland, we will film it. Pretty please.

Hope you enjoy the little travel vlog we made.

When Kaiwan and Reena described their wedding to us, we knew we wanted to be a part of it. The blending of Persian and Indian customs and traditions provided the backdrop for a beautiful ceremony and an amazing overall day. The Chears are a fun loving couple and we really could have spent multiple days with them. They are the best.

They say you should always save the best for last and, considering the Herron’s celebration was our final wedding of the year, we definitely finished 2016 on a high note. Chris and Clarissa’s beautiful fall Casa Real wedding was the perfect way to complete our wedding season. We had an amazing time with the Herron’s and we couldn’t have picked a better couple for our 30th, and final, wedding of 2016.

When things don’t go as planned, there are a couple ways you can respond: You can freak out and act like the sky is falling or you can look at the cup as being half full and make the best of what you have. Well, Troy and Allie’s wedding didn’t necessarily go as they expected. They found out at 2:15pm, via email, that their priest would not be able to officiate their ceremony. Luckily, an hour later, a priest (aka the hero, Father Tom) offered to conduct the ceremony and the Channings lived happily ever after. We love fall weddings and Troy and Allie’s laid back November wedding was a dream.

If you haven’t been to Arizona, you should go. Sedona is there. Four Corners and Horseshoe Bend are there. The Grand Canyon is there. And, in October, Lena and Ryan happened to be there too and their wedding was pretty much the best. Flagstaff was the perfect setting for this couple. It has a bit of country, an extra helping of the outdoors, and romance to spare. We enjoyed the heck out of our time with the Washburn’s and we think their film is pretty dang fun too.

Stacey and Kevan are pretty much the best. Their celebration combined so many things that we love about weddings: working with clients who work in the wedding industry (Stacey works with A Grande Affair), traveling for weddings (Paso Robles is beautiful), and there’s nothing better than capturing the story of two people who are genuinely in love. We would go back and relive their wedding day we would, but since we can’t we will just have to keep watching their film.

Lachlan and Lyndsey are the epitome of an international couple. Lyndsey (an American) and Lachlan (an Australian) met in Hong Kong, where they currently live and work. Their love story has all the makings of a movie. Their ceremony, held at Kunde Winery’s Boot Hill, is among the prettiest we have ever filmed. The picturesque panorama of the Sonoma valley provided the perfect backdrop for the couple’s elegant nuptials. The reception was gorgeous and we can’t get over the details of the day.

As far as wedding locations go, it’s hard to beat Napa’s Triple S Ranch. Ryan and Madeline’s September 17 wedding was about as pretty as it gets. From the wedding prep in the ranch’s elegantly rustic lodges to the intimate foresty first look, the Steel’s celebration was among our favorites from the summer.
