We wrapped up our 2017 wedding season in the best possible way. Joseph and Ana‘s December wedding ended up being one of our favorites of the year. We’ve seen a lot of amazing reactions when a groom sees his bride for the first time, but Joseph‘s is probably our favorite we’ve filmed (you should check it out). The couples love was so apparent and their energy and joy throughout the day was infectious. I’ve said it before, but we love winter weddings and the Pelina’s celebration was the perfect way to a wonderful wedding season.

2017 Wedding Highlight Reel

We had an amazing 2017. We filmed 24 weddings all over California (and one in Nevada) and had at least one per month, every month, except April (we went to Iceland that month). My initial goal was to cap our weddings at 20, but we had a few last minute wedding inquiries that we couldn’t turn down.

We have 21 weddings booked in 2018 and we will likely cap it at 24 again this year. We also have a couple 2019 weddings on the books. We are continually humbled by the people who allow us to capture their story and are so thankful for all of the people we got to know this year.

We are fortunate to be able to film a wide variety of weddings, from large celebrations to inimate gatherings of family and friends. The Lee’s San Francisco wedding was a beautiful display of love and culture at one of our favorite venues in the city. Emily and Franklin’s ceremony and restaurant reception was a wonderful gathering of love and a really special celebration to capture.

Wedding Movie // The Murphys

There’s something pretty special about weddings in San Francisco. The city has a certain romance to it that makes it the perfect setting for a love story. Colleen and Keith tied the knot at the amazing Fairmont Hotel and the event was about as elegant and beautiful as you could imagine. Everything, from the Murphy’s first look overlooking the city skyline to the reception with a panoramic view of the bay, was about as perfect and fairytale-esque as a couple could hope for.

It’s not often that we get to spend an entire 48 hours with a couple, but Corbin and Courtney’s wedding featured more love and fun than one could possibly pack into 24 hours. The weekend began with a cruise around the San Francisco Bay and ended in the heart of the city itself at the Fairmont Hotel. Corbin, a professional football player, and Courtney, a business owner and former professional soccer player, are some of the nicest people (let alone couples) we have ever met. From the Grace Cathedral to the Fairmont Hotel, the Louks’ wedding featured some of the most beautiful buildings (and people) the city has to offer. Honestly, we could have easily spent another 48 hours following Corbin and Courtney, but at a certain point I think it becomes stalking. And while there is a fine line between stalker and friend, we look forward to hanging out with Corbin and Courtney again soon. In the meantime, you’ll have to excuse us while we relive those incredible 48 hours through this video.
