Mutemath: Nashville to Nola

Back in February, we flew to Nashville to film Mutemath as they put the finishing touches on their 5th record, “Play Dead.” We had an amazing time working with the band as they recorded their record and prepared to release this amazing 10 song set. You can find a bunch of video and photos of our experiences with the band on our Instagram here.

We flew to New Orleans in April to film a couple other projects for the band as well.

Much has changed since April, as the band’s drummer Darren King announced his departure from the band. Although this changed much of the content we were creating, the trajectory of the band, and the momentum for LP5, remains undeterred. Here are some of the teasers we shot and edited (above) for the band over the past couple months and a gallery of behind the scenes photos.

Here’s a quick behind the scenes look at the Dew Drop Live session.

MUTEMATH

I am finally getting around to blogging a really fun shoot that we did at the end of 2015. I have listened to MUTEMATH for a decade and had the opportunity to film one of their San Francisco shows and produce a series of promo videos and a mini documentary for them. The band is about to kick-off their US tour. If they are coming to a town near you, you should go see them. If they aren’t coming to a town near you, you should go to a town that is not near you. Hope we can work with these awesome fellows again!
