Palm Event Center Wedding

Check out more from the Zimmerman’s wedding on our Instagram – www.instagram.com/mattervideo

Florence and Billy are two of the sweetest people you will meet and that isn’t more apparent than in their wedding vows. The Zimmerman’s personalized vows and the personal touches by the couple, and the amazing Lindsay Lauren Events team, made the Zimmerman’s day about as perfect as a wedding could get. Also, we love Palm Event Center. Everyone should get married there.

When David and Madeline first approached us about their wedding, they had a very clear vision. They wanted an intimate gathering of friends and family (less than 20) to join them for a wedding at San Francisco City Hall and then enjoy a delicious dinner at Flour + Water. Needless to say, we were on board with their plan. From the morning getting ready at a beautiful SF AirBnB to an amazing dinner at one of the city’s best restaurants, the Jeng’s wedding could not have been more fun. With the wedding complete, the Jengs celebrated their new marriage at a July reception with more than 300 guests. That’s what you call the best of both worlds.

Often, when we finish filming a wedding, we want to get started editing right away and the Hogan’s celebration was definitely one of those occasions. Jacqlyn and Jon’s St. Helena wedding was absolutely beautiful (as you can see) and one of those June days we want to live all over again. Also, we could could exclusively be a Napa Valley wedding videographer, we would be all about that!

Casa Real Wedding Video

Check out more from the Pimentel’s wedding on Instagram – www.instagram.com/mattervideo

Not everyone gets to meet their perfect match, but it’s easy to see that is just what Catherine and Thomas were fortunate enough to find. We had an incredible time with the Pimentel’s at their beautiful June wedding and it’s easy to see how these two were just meant to be.

“Now this is a legendary wedding. You will never see one like this ever again. We’ve got a bugeler, we’ve got a hockey face off, and all we need now is a football player.” When your officiant, a former NFL star, says this during your wedding you know you’ve checked all of your boxes. If you didn’t already notice from watching their film, Gabby and Robbie are the best. We had so much fun with the Vaughans on their wedding day and hopefully we can hang out with them again. They are a bunch of fun.

We love the feeling of capturing a wedding and then being super excited to edit and tell a couple’s story. This is exactly how we felt working with the Brady’s. We actually beat our editing record, as the couple got married one week ago and we already wrapped up their wedding film! They got ready at their families homes, were married at a traditional Catholic ceremony at a beautiful Livermore church, and then hosted an amazing, flower-filled party at Casa Real. We can’t say enough about Jessica and Travis’ day so you should probably just go watch their wedding film now.

Dodasa Ranch Wedding Video

Destiny is a funny thing, but some things are just meant to be. Brandon and Mel are one of those things. They share the same birthday, which pretty much means they were made for each other. We had so much fun with the Warks and we had an amazing time with the fine people at Dodasa Ranch (you should get married there).

Hawaii Destination Wedding

Check out www.instagram.com/mattervideo to see more from the Wong’s Kauai wedding!

It’s always an honor when a fellow wedding vendor hires you to document their wedding day. It’s extra special when that wedding happens to take place in Kauai. Jennifer, a makeup artist, married the love of her life, Wes, at the coolest Hawaiian Airbnb ever. The wedding was intimate and the first look was probably the sweetest wedding moment we’ve caught on film. If you want to get married in Hawaii, we will gladly go with you.

We had so much fun with Jeremy and Cheryl Lyn in April. We love filming weddings in our own backyard. It’s hard to beat a California wedding in the Spring and we are always down for a good dance party. We love working with couples like the Alinea’s.

There was a time (last week) when you could Google that term (this blog post’s title) and you would then find Matter Video among the first couple of pages of results. Then…we got hacked. Our site was up and down for a couple days and, to be honest, this ordeal may not be over. It screwed up our SEO a bit and was just a bummer experience (and costly) overall. If you are a small business owner and have a website, get it secured with a firewall. Also, if you see me around you can offer me a hug. I may need one.

On the positive side of things, our wedding season is ramping up and we have a lot of fun in store. Our fun cannot be hacked!
