McNally Wedding Movie

This wedding was a dream to shoot, for a number of reasons. Not only did Aaron and Lynsie (who are fantastic people, by the way) get married in the beautiful Carmel Valley, I was finally able to incorporate the Oakland A’s (the couple’s, and my, favorite baseball team) into a wedding video. The McNallys were married at the Carmel Valley Ranch on June 21 in front of an intimate group of their family and friends. The couple met while working at Starbucks, which is fitting because their wedding was cozier than a vanilla latte and sweeter than a mocha frappuccino.

Loughran Wedding Movie

When you picture a UFC fighter, you probably envision a brutish fellow who is a bit stand-offish and perhaps even unfriendly. Nate, the groom, happens to be a professional fighter, but he breaks every stereotype you might have had; he’s kind, intellectual and madly in love with his new bride, Michelle. Michelle, a videographer herself, had every details of the day down to a tee, including some of the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding (food trucks!). The reggae-tinged ceremony and reception against the beautiful backdrop that Hopland provided made for a beautiful day.

Failla Wedding Movie

Nick and Gina are both nurses and are among the kindest couples I have been around. In fact, if I ever get injured I hope it’s somewhere near their hospital because I have a feeling they take great care of their patients. Their May 30 ceremony at Palm Event Center was a near perfect day for this San Diego couple. It was a fun celebration of family and friends, which also featured some of the best dancers I’ve seen at a wedding in a long time.

Madsen Wedding Movie

It’s hard to say what makes a perfect wedding, but I am pretty sure the Madsen’s got close to finding all of the necessary ingredients. Tyler and Kelly got married at Leonard Lake Reserve on May 3, 2014 during a weekend celebration of handmade whimsy. Surrounded by their family and closest friends, the wedding felt more like an intimate weekend event than a grandiose ceremony. Kelly, a wedding photographer, planned each aesthetic detail while Tyler, a musician, gathered some of his favorite troubadours to provide a folky soundtrack for the day. I could go on and on about the beauty of the wedding, but in short it was a wedding should be: a celebration among friends and family. I hope this is what heaven is like.

Loewenthal Wedding Movie

The Loewenthals were married on April 5 at San Geronimo Golf Course in Marin County, CA. Trevor and Mallory were genuinely excited to get married, which made our job a whole lot easier. Mallory was laid back and eager, while Trevor prepared for the day with his best friends on San Geronimo’s incredible property. The day was filled with laughter, sunshine, and those happy tears that often show up during weddings.

Andersen Wedding Movie

On a beautiful, rainy, March day in Piedmont, Steven and Reba shared their vows. Steven, a tattoo artist, is the type of guy who is more interested in finding out about your story and life than he is about talking about himself. I think that is what makes him so likable and likely one of the reasons Reba was drawn to him in the first place. Reba’s laugh and warm personality kept the day light and fun. Many brides would view a rain-filled wedding day as a bad omen of sorts, but Reba saw it as an opportunity to bust out cute umbrellas and take pictures in puddles. Reba and Steven are the type of people you want to be around. They invite you into their life and want to know your story. Everyone at their wedding was part of a beautiful story that day. Also, they had Irish dancers. That was cool too.
